The Moore Cottage

We are located in Cedar Key, Florida in a section called Jackson Island about 2 miles from the mainland. Here the waters of the Gulf of Mexico wash upon many shallow oyster shell and mangrove islands. The setting is serene, vast and undeveloped.
The high tides reach the cottage sea wall.
The Cottage has three bedrooms (two up and one down) and two baths. We allow a maximum of six guests No exceptions. No smoking and No pets allowed in the Moore House Cottage. We now have Wi-Fi and Cable TV with DVD/VCR player. Plus we also have a land line telephone.
There is also a CD Player/AM/FM radio.
If you and your loved one are looking for a place to escape for a few days of serenity...Moore Cottage just might be the place you've dreamed of. Simply soak up sun on the private deck, watch dolphins, egrets, mullet and even an occasional bald eagle all at your door step, experience an amazing sunset together from your balcony, walk to the village for fantastic seafood, take a bike ride, rent a golfcart. These are just a few of the many fun and relaxing things to do while spending your time in Cedar Key and The Moore Cottage.
Cedar Key is located amidst the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge. Thirteen uninhabited islands off the coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Kayak to the islands from Moore House Cottage.
